Fragrance Industry Regulations & Safety
This website is essential for anyone considering creating fragranced products of any kind in the UK. It can be a confusing site to navigate. If you want to check what ingredients are restricted or prohibited for use, you need to go to the site and click on the “Standards” tab it will then give you a list of options to look at in the left side bar.

Just in case you missed it on Friday! Are your home made creams and lotions too thin?
Thanks Joanne,
Glad you enjoyed it! I also run the skincare workshop for The Make Lounge in which we make a lotion which is a bit more advanced as well as a cleanser, toner and face scrub. I don’t have anything else in the pipeline in London at the moment as I am finishing the book but I have a weekend at Trill Farm http://www.trillfarm.co.uk/courses in Dorset which is owned by Romy Fraser the original founder of Neal’s Yard Remedies. I am sure I will have some more dates over the summer when I do publicity for my book and as you are on my mailing list you will be the first to know
regards
Karen
Hi Karen,
I just wanted to say a big thank you for a very informative and friendly course last Monday. I really enjoyed it and found your style of teaching very laidback and you gave out plenty of hints and tips.
I’d love to do another course with you, one that expands on the basic course we did on Monday.
Please let me know if your planning any advanced course or can recommend any as I am keen to study and practice making bath and body products as a hobby and who knows where it may lead
many thanks
Joanne

Hello Karen
I attended your bath beauty products workshop in the Make Lounge a couple of months ago. I wanted to thank you, as I made my xmas presents for all the women in the family from what I learned with you. They are so lovely!
I wanted to ask to be added to your newsletter, if you have one, as I would like to know about your other workshops in the future.
Regards
Macarena
